  • Chemical Composition (example: ASTM A36): C ≤ 0.26%, Mn 0.60–0.90%, Si ≤ 0.40%, P ≤ 0.04%, S ≤ 0.05%.

  • Grades: Q235, Q345, S355JR, A572 Gr.50, A36, S235, S355, 4130, 4140, 4340, A106 Gr.A/B, A333, A500, St52, AH36, 1020, 1018, 1010, S275JR, A53, 1045, SS400, etc.

  • Thickness Range: 3–200 mm; Width: 1000–3500 mm; Length: up to 12,000 mm.

  • Density: 7.85 g/cm³; Weight Calculation Formula: Weight (kg) = Length (m) × Width (m) × Thickness (mm) × 7.85.

  • Mechanical Properties:

    • Tensile strength: 400–550 MPa

    • Yield strength: 235–345 MPa

    • Elongation: 20–26%

    • Impact toughness (Charpy V-notch at 20°C): ≥ 27 J

  • Surface Conditions: As-rolled, shot-blasted, pickled, or coated with anti-rust oil.

Manufacturing Process & Standards


  • Process Flow:

    1. Steelmaking (BOF/EAF) → Ladle refining → Continuous casting into slabs

    2. Reheating and hot rolling to required thickness

    3. Cooling on run-out table

    4. Cutting to ordered dimensions

    5. Surface treatment and final inspection

  • Quality Control: Ultrasonic testing (UT) for internal defects, dimensional tolerance inspection, mechanical property testing per batch.

  • Standards: ASTM A36/A572, EN 10025-2, GB/T 700, ISO 9001.

  • Packaging & Transport: Bundled with steel straps, edge-protected, loaded on steel pallets, covered with waterproof tarpaulin for sea freight.
